We would
like to welcome you to Agri-Services, and tell you a little bit about ourselves. We're
Jim and Sue Guarino, owners and founders of the business. Since 1971 Jim (an Ag
Engineer) has been doing farm service and custom farm field work, We own and
operate a small hay and grain farm and are members of the Western New York 2
Cylinder Club. A few years ago our neighbor needed a John Deere D rewired, and
we needed some round baling done. A trade was made, and since then, we have
been providing restoration wiring harnesses through out the US, Canada, and
abroad.
Our
harnesses are patterned from measurements of original harnesses and from
measuring tractors at auctions and shows. We also research wiring diagrams,
parts books and owners manuals to assure that our products are accurate. All of
our terminals are crimped and soldered to assure a good connection. Each
harness is shipped with a connection sheet, which corresponds to numbered tags
that we attach to each wire. We use original type materials including cloth
covered wire and rubber terminal insulators. Our plastic covered wire is
insulated with cross-linked polyethylene, which has a resistance to
environmental stress, cracking, cut-through, ozone, solvents, and heat.
All of our
harnesses are custom built, and can easily be made to fit tractors with
modifications such as 12 volt alternator systems, regulator conversions, high
performance ignitions etc.
Restoration
of vintage tractors has grown tremendously in the last few years. Restorers
spend a lot of time and money to bring a tired piece of farm machinery back to
life. But when its done, you can step back and picture it being brought home
from the dealer for the first time! Some of our customers even remember that
day back when they were little. Tractors are being passed down from generation
to generation. So if you should be passing by something that looks like a pile
of rust in the weeds, check it out! It might be something you can pass down
someday.
